You’ve probably wondered what the hell is the main difference between al three right?
Well, to keep it short and sweet, here’s the answer!
What does a good homepage look like?
Your main landing page when people visit your domain. A big mistake that people tend to do is craft up a great looking homepage that isn’t optimized to convert. This is a mistake. Yes, your homepage should showcase what it is that you’re offering and why people should buy from you. But don’t forget that you must ask people to take action. Make it super easy for them and don’t be afraid of continuously reminding them to TAKE ACTION.
What does a good inside page look like?
These can be seen as extensions to your homepage. They offer more concrete info on a subject matter. For example, you could have a contact us page that lets people reach out to you in an easy way. Or maybe a portfolio page that showcases in a more in-depth way some of your products or services. Here, again, you should try to incentivize people to take action.
What are landing pages?
These are the special ones. Landing pages you’re going to be using for very specific purposes. That is, you will have a very concise idea of what it is that you’re going to be offering to visitors and most importantly, WHO THIS VISITORS are going to be. Landing pages are pages that target a very specific audience and are crafted up with (usually) the sole purpose of CONVERTING. Whether it’s by selling people a product at a discount, or offering a free consultation call with you… etc.
IMPORTANT: Landing pages will differ too from your other two pages in that they will NOT NECESSARILY follow the same design layout as your other pages. For example, you almost never include your site’s header/footer since that will allow people to leave your landing page without converting.
