7 Reasons to Switch Over to Thrive Theme Builder

Web Development

Thrive Theme Builder was built by the same guys who first developed Thrive Architect, and it was recently launched in March. And let me tell you… It’s been one awesome launch.

Yes, it did have a few bugs that needed some urgent fixes. And yes, it still has a few things that could be improved, particularly when it comes to tutorials and “how-to” videos. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered here at Green Light.

Without further due, here are 7 reasons why you should ditch whatever wordpress theme you’re currently using and switch over to Thrive Theme Builder today.

#1 – Customize your header and footer across your whole site

One of the biggest issues that we personally had while building websites with Thrive prior to the launch of TTB was the fact that you couldn’t display a custom header and footer across your site. While you could build headers and footers as symbols and import them into landing pages, the moment a user visited your blog page or an inner post page they’d be left hanging with a crappy looking header and footer that came with your original theme.

This issue gets fixed with Thrive Theme Builder. Say hello to a custom header and footer across your whole site!

By the way, we have free tutorials on how to build custom headers and how to build custom footers using thrive theme builder and thrive architect.

#2 Customize your blog page design

You could already kind of do something like this by getting creative prior to using the TTB, but it’d take a lot of time and a lot of patience to get a clean and smooth blog page up and running using your crappy old thrive theme.

This also gets fixed with TTB. Not only do they have some nice cool templates for you to start off, but you can actually customize every single aspect of your blog page, which is awesome.

#3 Customize your inner blog post design

This one kind of goes hand by hand with number 2. But this is actually one of the biggest breakthroughs that TTB gives us. We can actually customize the complete look and vibe of our inner blog post designs. We could barely do anything design-wise to our posts prior to TTB. Sidebars, CTAs, hero sections, dynamic content… you name it. It’s there for you to use.

#4 IT’S FAST!

It’s not the fastest theme we’ve ever used, but it’s pretty darn fast!

Remember, your site speed is going to be dependent on a variety of factors such as:

  • Quality of hosting (probably the biggest factor), you can host with us here
  • Page size (if you have a lot of heavy images and assets, your site speed is probably going to be negatively impacted by these)
  • Quality of theme
  • Amount of custom scripts that need to be loaded
  • Others

#5 It’s 100% mobile responsive

Say hello to responsiveness. And yes, this is a massive one to take into account.

Remember, humans have become mobile Gollums. They can’t go ten minutes without holding their phones in their hands. If your site is not mobile responsive, you have a huge problem. And, well, luckily for you Thrive makes it super easy to build mobile responsive sites. Here’s a video for you to learn how to build mobile responsive sites using Thrive Theme Builder and Thrive Architect.

#6 It’s actually affordable

Given everything that Thrive includes in their agency plan (leads, optimize, ultimatum etc.) the whole Thrive ecosystem is affordable. You can learn more about their pricing here.

#7 You can build and replicate any design that you like

You name it: The New York Times, IGN, your favorite competitor’s site… you can build anything that you want using Thrive Theme Builder and Thrive Architect.

This is probably the biggest factor that made us switch all of our client’s sites over to TTB. The fact that we can build and customize anything we want to satisfy all of our needs… that’s big.
